Griffin Papernomad Case

The new Papernomad cases by Griffin are interesting. Where most case manufacturers would recommend avoiding marks and spills, the Papernomad line is actually designed to be written on, sketched on, coffee-stained, and painted to your liking.

It’s essentially a blank canvas for your imagination — a lofty description for a gadget case, but fitting nonetheless.

The exterior is made of a special water-resistant (although not water-proof) blend of paper pulp and corn-based plastic, while the interior sports layers of polylactic acid padding and synthetic, scratch-free wool. The hemp strap closes via a hidden magnet for your convenience.

This case is quite durable, and even manufactured in a sustainable way. It also comes in various flavors: iPhone 5, iPad and iPad mini, MacBook Air (13″), and more.

All models are available on Amazon, and range between $35-54.
