Grovemade iPhone Dock

Grovemade’s iPhone docks are not only gorgeous, they’re well-made and offer true one-handed use thanks to their 3 lb weight.

Their cores are machined from solid steel — which comes in powder-coated black or plated silver — or in limited-edition brass, then capped with either Oregon Walnut or eastern hardrock maple wood. The wooden caps are hand sanded and finished with a natural oil and wax blend, and their dock openings can accomodate an iPhone with or without a case.

Each dock is totally freestanding, meaning no adhesives to apply (though there are little rubber bumpers on the bottom to prevent sliding). A hidden channel in the base directs ringtone and other audio freely through the front of the unit while the iPhone is docked—a nice touch.

While we can attest that the iPhone 5/5s/5c version of the dock has worked quite nicely in the past, they are currently on backorder and set to begin shipping again in 6 weeks (as of February 7th, 2015).

Their iPhone 6 and 6 Plus versions, on the other hand, are still in the production phase and there is no set date for their release. (You can follow along with their iPhone 6 updates here.)

If that does not bother you, the 6 and 6 Plus editions can be pre-ordered for $99.
