Roberu Short Wallet
On the surface, this short wallet made by Japanese company Roberu seems like a typical leather wallet. But two things about it piqued my interest:
- It's made from camel leather rather than cow leather, a difference of five times the pulling strength yet is quite soft to the touch.
- There's an interior pouch just for coins. I recently started experimenting with giving myself a weekly cash allowance to keep myself on budget, and I hate dealing with all the coins I end up with in the process. I could make good use of such a wallet pouch.
Since Roberu is unable to ship to countries outside of Japan, the wallet must be ordered through Pipperoo, a site that can ship elsewhere. Also keep in mind that each wallet takes three weeks to make before shipping.
The short wallet comes in brown, dark brown, navy (my favorite), or black. It costs ¥18,000 + ¥2,000 shipping, or approx. $148 + $17 shipping USD.
