I recently stumbled across the “Pigminted” Etsy shop, which is run by an environment modeler and woodworker named Gurinder Kullar [see his Instagram feed here]. He has a clear love for recreating various kinds of video and board game memorabilia in wooden form, including but not limited to:

• Video game cases and cartridges for classic PS1, PS2, SNES, GameCube, and other console titles.
• Various “in-game” menus (my favorites are FFVII, Xenogears, and Street Fighter 2)
• Custom trading cards from games like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering.

You'll pay a pretty penny for any of these items, but for the longtime gamer in your life, they would be a gift well received, no doubt.
