Peak Design Field Pouch V2
Peak Design's Field Pouch V2 — the original version of which we reviewed in 2016 — is a thoughtfully designed two-in-one EDC pouch that acts as both a minimalist carry-all sling bag (worn either cross-body or over the shoulder) and a compressible in-bag organizer.
Whichever way you decide to use it, your small daily essentials will always be with you and easily accessible, from cards to keys to charging cables to batteries and beyond. You can even fit a narrow camera body with a small lens in there if you want.
To keep things organized, the pouch offers an internal zip pocket and 8 internal stretch pockets in various sizes, with the added benefit of keeping your stuff from jingling around through the day. The pouch can also double in volume as the amount of contents expands, so storage is no concern here.
In case you're wondering about the “V2” thing, they explain all the upgrades made over the original edition:
Now in its 2nd generation, the Field Pouch V2 features tons of usability optimizations like an included strap, improved pocket layout, and dual Capture attachment points. Updated patterning integrates loads of functionality into single, sweeping seam lines for a timeless, minimal look.
I personally appreciate that both the soft felt lining and the 400D double poly-coated weatherproof nylon canvas shell are made from Bluesign-approved recycled fabrics!
