Brieftons “QuickPush” Food Chopper

As someone who's been a picky eater all my life (mostly for texture reasons, not taste), one of the simplest and easiest ways I've found to get veggies in my diet is to roast them. Now, the cooking part takes enough time as-is — upwards of an hour if I do it in the oven — so if there's any way I can cut down (heh) on the prep time beforehand, I'll take it.

That's why I'm all about this food chopper from Brieftons. I'm sure you don't need me to tell you how it works, but just in case, all you have to do is load up a fruit or veggie of your choice and push down on the lid to quickly cut the food into consistent squares that collect in the 8-cup container below. No fancy knife skills required. You don't even need a cutting board!

It comes with three super sharp blade inserts that produce square cuts of different sizes: ¼", ½", and ¾". They're made from heavy-duty German stainless steel, so they shouldn't rust or dull as long as you take care of them. In some cases (carrots, beetroots, etc), that will mean pre-boiling to soften the foods in question before running them through the dicer blades.
