The iBooks app can sync notes, highlights, and other annotations across your various Apple devices. Purchasing new books is seamless with support for Touch ID and auto-downloads on your other devices.

Apple has produced a great native e-reading experience. iBooks wasn’t always as polished as it is now, but now it has a robust store, rich media, and supports interactive content in the app.
