Tryone Gooseneck Tablet Stand

This gooseneck tablet stand by Tryone — not to be confused with “Tyrone” — is a handy way to hold a smartphone or tablet of any size between 4.7″ and 7.9″ wide. That includes all iPhone models (going off their height rather than width), all iPad models, the Nintendo Switch, the Kindle Fire HD, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and more.

It can come in handy for many situations:

  • Watching Netflix in bed (my wife and I do this a lot since we don’t have a TV and rely on our iPads).
  • Playing the Nintendo Switch in “tabletop” mode with the Joy-Cons detached (also useful while laying in bed).
  • Referencing recipes while you cook.

The stand clips onto any surface up to 3″ thick, so you’ve probably got a good place in your home to keep it mounted. The adjustable 24.5-inch “neck” is a little on the stiff side when you want to move it around, but that’s a good thing when it comes to keeping the device in place.

Just don’t use this stand if you plan on tapping the screen a bunch while it’s mounted, because that will definitely cause some wobble. It’s more of a hands-free thing.

The Tryone gooseneck tablet stand is $18 on Amazon and comes in black and white.
