One of the negatives of some of the new Wi-Fi systems like Eero and Google Wifi is they only have one LAN port on the devices. If you have multiples items you want to wire in, you will be out of luck. However, you can easily add a 5-port switch to expand that single LAN port into four more devices. You simply take the LAN port on your Wi-Fi device, plug it into this switch, and then plug the rest of your devices in. There is nothing else to configure.
