Tea Tree Therapy Toothpicks

There’s something about chewing on a toothpick that pleases my fidgety personality, and I’ve always thought it looked cool besides. Having a flavored one is all the better, as it makes it feel more like a little treat that freshens your breath at the same time.

These birch toothpicks from Tea Tree Therapy are quite nice. They taste great, and because they’re treated with…well, tea tree oil — spot-on company name, eh? — they offer some antiseptic properties that kill nasty bacteria in the mouth.

The company says the flavor can “be an aid to those giving up smoking or snacking,” but to be honest I’ll probably never totally give up snacking, and I’m not a smoker, so I can’t testify there. I just know they taste good.

Individual 100-count packs can be had for around $6–$8 a pop in your choice of mint or cinnamon flavors (ingredients listed below). They do also offer multi-packs that knock the per-unit price down a bit (usually to around $3 or $4).
