SteelSeries “Arctis 1 Wireless” Gaming Headset for Nintendo Switch & More

A couple weeks ago, SteelSeries released their new Arctis 1 Wireless 4-in-1 gaming headset, which offers ultra-low-latency wireless compatibility with Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC, and Android — in some cases thanks to the included USB-C dongle.

The Arctis 1 Wireless delivers rock-solid, lag-free, lossless 2.4 GHz audio for the ultimate gaming immersion, without having to get wires involved and no matter which platform you use them with.

It also sports the same ClearCast noise-canceling microphone as other gaming headsets in SteelSeries’ lineup, like the Arctis 7 — except, instead of merely being retractable, this version of the mic is detachable entirely so you can use the headset as a simple pair of on-the-go headphones.

On the left cup you’ll find a set of convenient on-ear controls for adjusting volume, muting the microphone, and playing/pausing any media (movies, music, etc) you’re playing when not gaming. The adjustable, steel-reinforced headband is lightweight and durable, while the ear cushions are made from an Airweave fabric that would be comfy enough for a mattress, so they’re more than worthy enough for your listening pleasure.

As one last point of note, although this headset was intended primarily for wireless use, you can still use its included 3.5mm audio cable to plug it into other sources, like any Xbox controllers with a 3.5mm headset jack.
