Sadun Windproof Travel Umbrella

As winter has hit the southeastern US, we’ve seen a lot more rain. I noticed that my normal umbrella had gone “missing” (meaning that I lost it). I decided that I probably need to carry one in my car for times when I am dropping my kids off for school in the rain. I picked up this really inexpensive one from Amazon.

I’ve been very impressed so far. It’s very small, but very durable. My experience with “travel” size umbrellas has typically been that they are light, but weak. The Sadun is extremely sturdy, though. Each rib is made with alloy and carbon fiber, but yet its small enough to fit in your glove compartment. It can close and open with the press of a button.

Buy it on Amazon for $12.95.
