Pre-order the HORI Screen & System Protector Set for Nintendo Switch Lite

As we gear up for the launch of the Nintendo Switch Lite next month, we’re keeping our eyes out for all the accessories and paraphernalia that are worthy of T&T readers’ time.

The folks at HORI — who make those nifty D-pad controllers for the original Switch — are getting set to release a whole line of officially licensed, Switch Lite-friendly cases and such.

The one that caught our eye most is the Screen & System Protector Set, which includes a two-piece polycarbonate clamshell case and a screen guard to keep both the device and screen protected while showing off that brilliant yellow or turquoise console color. (Because you’re not going for boring old gray, are you? 😉)

Two things that will make this set great are:

  1. The case has a built-in kickstand — something the Switch Lite itself lacks — to prop up the device so you can watch movies and videos hands-free.
  2. The back of the case is ergonomically shaped to offer a comfortable, secure grip while playing.

The case + screen protector combo releases on September 20th, 2019 (the same day as the Switch Lite) and can be pre-ordered for $15 on Amazon. If the hardshell case isn’t your style, you can instead pre-order their flexible TPU “DuraFlexi” Protector ($13) and combine that with their standalone protective screen filter ($8).
