Our friends at Studio Neat have announced Canopy, an upcoming case for your Apple Magic Keyboard that folds open to create a stand for your iPad or iPhone. Their short intro video shows you all you need to know:
We’ve gotten to play with a prototype of Canopy, and can already attest that it’s awesome. The keyboard is held in place using the same sort of micro-suction pads Studio Neat have previously employed for their Apple Remote Stand and Material Dock, and although the exterior is certainly sturdy enough to take you with you anywhere, the microfiber interior remains gentle on your devices.

Canopy is “device agnostic”, meaning it can be used with any iPad model (including Pro) or an iPhone.
As of this writing (November 30th, 2016) there is no exact release date for Canopy; we only know that it will begin shipping in the coming weeks. As they say on the product page, “We are trying our hardest to deliver by Christmas but unfortunately can’t guarantee it.”
Canopy sports a durable synthetic canvas exterior, a microfiber interior, a leather strap, and a stainless steel snap.
