Move38 “Blinks” Game System Starter Set

I would describe Blinks as a table-top game from the future.

It’s a bit hard to describe what Move38’s Blinks game system is, but that quote above is about as close as it gets. It’s made up of a series of smart touch-responsive hexagon tiles, each of which acts as a “cartridge” with a single game programmed into it. However, all of the tiles can learn games from one another, then be connected together to create endlessly modular game boards.

The 9-piece starter set comes with…you guessed it, nine unique “Blink Nodes”:

  1. Astro
  2. Darkball
  3. Group Therapy
  4. Heist
  5. Paintbrush
  6. Puzzle 101
  7. WHAM!
  8. ZenFlow
  9. Widgets (this one isn’t just a game per se, but rather a bunch of game accessories in one, like dice, a spinning wheel, and a coin flip)

To understand how this all works, I recommend watching their ‘getting started’ video to see how the tiles teach games to one another:

Blinks is an awesome way to keep kids occupied for a good long while, and certainly makes an interesting option on family game night. Get the starter kit for $149 on Amazon.
