Mission Critical Baby Carrier

If GORUCK were in the business of making baby carriers, they would probably look something like the this one from Mission Critical. I mean, the thing looks like a bulletproof vest at first glance.

The outer layer is made from 1000D nylon and sports MOLLE webbing on the front and back for easy attachment of diaper pouches, water bottles with carabiners, medical/allergy kits, other Mission Critical accessories, etc. It’s also got a built-in sun shade that unfolds when needed and tucks away later.

Pros:

  • Baby can face in or out (depending on their stage of development).
  • The carrier is quite comfortable to wear.
  • The liner is removable and washable.

Con:

  • The lower area is just a tad narrow and could be more supportive for baby’s hips. Their legs won’t dangle straight down but they won’t be all the way to the side either.

This couple gave the carrier a thorough and honest review. It’s worth a watch if you’re considering buying one:

The carrier is $190 at Mission Critical.
