Magik Play is a set of games for kids that stimulates physical and mental skills by promoting the handling of real blocks to complete challenges on an iPad.

It works with 3 apps: Hidden Shapes, Dino Blocks, and Runaway.

They sent over a demo unit, and my kids really enjoyed it. I was really interested in how it works technically. There are magnets inside the blocks (so they aren’t just random building blocks) that interact with the iPad. My kids love the iPad, and this kit is a way that can do more than just tap on a screen watching YouTube videos.
