Litely – Photo Presets

Whenever I’m editing photos, one of my favorite things to do is fiddle with color temperature. Nothing drastic of course, because I prefer subtle tones over the kinds of blown-out highlights you see in HDR photography, but a slightly different hue can completely change the feel of a shot for the better. That’s why I’m interested in this first group of photo presets being released by Litely, which they’ve dubbed Origins.

$52 gets you 12 subtle-but-lovely presets, all of which are available for a variety of photo editors: Lightroom 4, Photoshop CS5+, Aperture 3, and Adobe Camera Raw. Click over to the Litely page and hover over all the example images (or tap and hold, if you’re on an iOS device) to see the before/after results. Pretty nice, if you ask me.

The guy running Litely, Cole Rise, is well known for his incredible landscape photography, which happens to make for awesome iPad wallpapers. I’m particularly a fan of the Explorations in Space series.
