When it comes to having two displays on your desk, using the static stands that come in their boxes may not be the best choice; they take up a bunch of room and can’t be repositioned very easily. A better bet would be using something like the Ergotron LX Dual Side-by-Side Arm.
Designed to hold dual monitors that are each 24″ or smaller, this polished aluminum arm gives your display setup more flexibility and range of motion, with the additional benefit of clearing up room on your desk. Installation is done by clamping the arm onto the desk or attaching it to a hole in the desk with the included grommet mount.
The LX Dual Side-by-Side Arm can lift the monitors 13 inches off the desk, and each one can be tilted 80 degrees, panned 360 degrees, and/or rotated 90 degrees—so, you can have one monitor in landscape and one in portrait. If you need even more desk space, you can easily push the monitors out of your way.
