Ecobee4 is the newest model of the popular Wi-Fi enabled thermostat line. It supports Apple HomeKit, Samsung SmartThings, IFTTT and more. You can also control it from the Ecobee iOS app.

I’ve owned a Nest thermostat for the past few years. Sadly, one of them broke recently. I’ve got my eye on the Ecobee4 to replace it. The HomeKit compatibility will be mean I can use it along side my other HomeKit devices to create various home automation scenes (along with managing it from the Home app).

Another great feature of the Ecobee line is you can add additional room sensors to help the thermostat read temperates from other parts of the house vs just the location it’s in.
