CloudConvert

CloudConvert is one of the tools that I’m simply thankful it exists. It’s a web based tool that can convert anything to anything. Do you have an ePub than you want to be in Kindle format? It can do it. Do you have some FLAC files that you want in AAC? CloudConvert is your tool. With nothing to install, it’s incredibly easy to use. Since it’s a web based system, it’s not relying on your computer hardware in order to convert. This means it potentially can move a lot faster without slowing down your local machine.

With Dropbox and Google Drive support, it’s even more powerful on iOS. If you’ve got an AVI file in Dropbox, you can convert to MP4 right from the app (and save back to Dropbox). I love being able to take a large MP4 file and convert it to MP3 right from my phone. In total, it supports 180 file types.

CloudConvert is free with a few limitations on file size and number of conversions per day. If you want more conversion minutes and larger file sizes, you can upgrade right from within the app or on their website. If you simply register for a free account on their website, you get bumped to 1 GB file sizes and 25 conversion minutes per day.

Download CloudConvert on the App Store or visit their website.
