A few months ago, I posted a link to the watch I had worn for much of the last decade. After years of use (and abuse), I felt like it was finally time to retire it. Thanks to an Amazon gift card, I went on the hunt for a new watch. After looking at multiple options, I came back to the Citizen’s brand once again. I chose the Citizen Men’s AO9030-21E Eco-Drive Avion with a leather strap. While some folks don’t like to spend nearly $200 on a watch that isn’t “smart”, I’ve found that a good watch will last years where a cheap one will wear out.

The watch is powered by sunlight, and it’s water resistant to 330 feet. Best of all, it looks fantastic.
