There are a lot of automation tools out there for the iPhone, but Launch Center Pro may be one of the easiest to set up and use.

Not unlike Automator on the Mac, Launch Center Pro’s interface uses easy-to-understand menus to link actions together. If you need more power, you can type or paste commands, but for many actions, it’s not required.

I’m using Launch Center Pro as a quick way to iMessage a select set of contacts, quickly add something to the Google Doc I use to manage topics for my podcast and open the Instagram camera without having to see the timeline first.

Version 2 was just released, refreshed for iOS 7. The update also brings improved icon and label setup, Dropbox backup and expanded x-callback support.
